Operations Manager – Healthy Home Foundation Repair

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Reports To: Integrator/COO
Compensation: Salary Range of $80-100k + Performance Incentives (Based on Gross Profit, Labor Efficiency & Rework Reduction)
Industry Experience: Not required – we hire for character, leadership, and aptitude. Full hands-on training provided.


Role Purpose

The Operations Manager exists to improve Gross Profit, increase labor utilization, and minimize rework across all installs. They will coach crews, tighten scheduling and communication, and make sure every project is delivered efficiently, profitably, and right the first time.


Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Gross Profit Performance

  • Monitor job costing and labor budgets daily
  • Coach crew leads on productivity and margin protection
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements

2. Increase Labor Utilization

  • Ensure crews are properly scheduled and staffed
  • Track labor hours vs. production goals using Per4mance.io
  • Reduce downtime and inefficiency between jobs

3. Minimize Rework & Callbacks

  • Establish and reinforce install standards
  • Conduct post-install quality checks when needed
  • Use issues as coaching opportunities, not blame sessions

4. Lead, Coach, and Develop People

  • Provide 1:1 coaching with crew leads
  • Hold installers accountable to expectations
  • Model clear communication, professionalism, and ownership

5. Organize and Optimize Operations

  • Coordinate with office, warehouse, and sales to improve communication loops
  • Maintain job schedules, material readiness, and workflow clarity
  • Track and report KPIs weekly

Success Metrics

  • Gross Profit % per job & company-wide
  • Labor utilization vs. budget
  • Reduction in reworks and warranty callbacks
  • Crew productivity and accountability
  • On-time, on-budget job completion
